Veterans Appreciation Drive

Held in observance of the National Day of Service and Remembrance and commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11, this morning gathering brings community members together over coffee to connect, give back, and honor those who have served and are currently serving our country.

We will be collecting Toiletry Kits to support Arkansas Veterans Village. If you’d like to contribute, these are the suggested items for each kit:
-Bar Soap/Liquid Bath Soap
-Disposable Razors
-Deodorant
-Shampoo
-Conditioner
-Toothbrush
-Toothpaste

The morning will also feature a panel conversation with local veterans, offering an opportunity to hear their perspectives and experiences.

Coffee will be provided by Doomsday Coffee & Roasterie, founded by U.S. Army veteran Jason Collins and inspired by his commitment to fostering connection and unity among veterans following their military service.

Leading up to the GoodWorks Regional Day of Service on September 12, this gathering offers an opportunity to come together in the spirit of service—sharing coffee, building connections, and supporting veterans in our community.
