Welcoming Week NWA

Through Welcoming Week NWA, regional organizations and communities bring together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity.

Welcoming Week NWA returns in 2026 with a renewed focus on The Places We Share: schools, libraries, parks, workplaces, neighborhoods, and other community spaces where people across the region come together to learn, serve, and build relationships.

This year’s programming will take place throughout September and highlights the many ways residents connect to community life through volunteer service, youth leadership, cultural exchange, and civic participation.

Together, these experiences help strengthen Northwest Arkansas as a region where people choose to live, contribute, and build their futures.
