
Cries from the Cotton Field Film Screening and Talk Back with Filmmaker Larry Foley
The Springdale Public Library, in collaboration with the Tontitown Historical Museum, invites you to a showing of “Cries from the Cotton Field” with a special visit from its award-winning director Larry Foley.
This film follows the journey of 19th-century Italian immigrants from their homes in northern Italy through their difficult relocation to the Arkansas Delta, and ultimately to the flourishing community of Tontitown, the haven of Italian culture and cuisine in Northwest Arkansas.
Space is limited. Registration is required and opens on September 1st.
